On May 25 2019, GAG Moderne Art Gallery, which is a retailer and repository of umpteen contemporary paintings in New Delhi; held an event on Underground Talks, which was hosted by renowned artist Manish Pushkale and was graced by the presence of veteran politician Ramashankar Singh. In conversation with Ramashankar Singh, Pushkale asked for his opinions on the contemporary challenges facing the society and how arts and artists could play a role in addressing such challenges.
The event was attended by well-known creative minds from the art and literary circuit. Well known poet and cultural critic Ashok Vajpeyi was one of the guests at the event. He expressed his thoughts on contemporary society and called on the creative minds in the sphere of arts and literature to play a major role in addressing the challenges of modern times. Many prominent art critics also attended the event and appreciated the concept behind it.
